1. About KokoHub
KokoHub is an online marketplace that connects verified phone and electronics sellers with buyers in Ikeja, Lagos and across Lagos State, Nigeria. KokoHub acts as an intermediary platform — it does not own, store, or sell any of the products listed on the platform directly.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use KokoHub. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
KokoHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate platform policies.
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are encouraged to inspect devices before completing payment, in line with our "Inspect before you pay" policy.
Buyers must verify device IMEI numbers and condition during inspection to avoid disputes after payment.
Buyers must not misuse the returns or dispute process for items that were inspected and accepted in person.
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses and contact information.
Listing only genuine, accurately described devices.
Not listing stolen, blacklisted, or counterfeit products.
Fulfilling orders promptly and maintaining honest communication with buyers.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on KokoHub:
Listing or selling stolen, cloned, or counterfeit devices.
Fraudulent transactions, fake orders, or payment scams.
Harassment, abusive language, or threats between users.
Circumventing KokoHub's platform to complete transactions off-platform in order to avoid fees or policies.
Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or platform rankings.
Uploading illegal, misleading, or harmful content.
7. Payments
KokoHub supports Cash on Delivery and secure card payments. All financial transactions are the responsibility of the buyer and seller. KokoHub is not liable for payment disputes between parties, though our support team can assist in mediation. Sellers must not request payments outside the KokoHub platform.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. KokoHub will mediate return disputes where necessary but is not liable for refund delays caused by sellers or payment processors.
9. Limitation of Liability
KokoHub is a marketplace platform and does not guarantee the quality, legality, or authenticity of items listed by sellers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KokoHub shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from transactions between buyers and sellers on the platform.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the KokoHub platform — including logos, design elements, and text — is the intellectual property of KokoHub. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use platform content without prior written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from use of KokoHub shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
KokoHub reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or a platform notification.
